E-GO Series: efficiency and precision for profile extrusion

Bausano E-GO single screw extruders are designed to ensure high precision and adaptability in the production of technical profiles with any geometry. Available in sizes from 45 to 90 mm with L/D ratios up to 30, they efficiently process PVC, PE, HDPE, LDPE, PP-R, WPC, ABS, PC/ABS, PMMA and many other polymers. The custom screw profile and real time digital control ensure homogeneous melting, high output and reduced consumption. Ceramic band or induction heating enables energy savings of up to 35%, while optimised cooling keeps profile quality constant. Thanks to efficient asynchronous motors and Made in Italy gearboxes, E-GO ensures reliability in both compact and continuous production. The line integrates easily with downstream calibration, haul off and cutting systems, for a custom configuration that supports profiles for windows, ducts, roller shutters, skirting boards, window sills, building covers, technical components, furniture and automotive applications.

Screw geometries for processing a wide variety of polymers:

Modular design of the screw functional zones: feeding zone, compression zone and metering zone; developed to ensure smooth material conveying, gradual melting and uniform distribution of the melt, guaranteeing process stability and consistent quality of the extruded profile.
Screw diameters of 45, 60, 75 and 90 mm, with channel geometry and flight depth defined according to the rheological behaviour of the polymers, in order to achieve adequate output and effective torque transmission, even with high-viscosity or filled materials.
Length-to-diameter ratios between 25 and 30, calibrated to balance residence time, plasticizing capacity and temperature control, preventing overheating and material degradation.
Compression ratio and channel depth optimized to properly manage the transition from the solid state to melting, obtaining a homogeneous melt with uniform temperature and viscosity, while reducing areas that are not fully melted.
