E-GO Series: versatility and constant output for pipe extrusion

E-GO single screw extruders are designed to ensure process stability and high productivity in the production of pipes for water networks, gas distribution, drainage, irrigation, sanitary systems and heating systems. The dedicated screw profile ensures uniform plasticising at low operating temperatures, while the induction heating system enables energy savings of up to 35%.
The E-GO Series is suitable for processing a wide range of thermoplastic materials: PP, PP-R, PE, HDPE, LDPE, PE-X, PE-RT, PMMA, PC, PA and PU. The lines allow the production of single layer or multilayer pipes, in different diameters and pressure classes, for civil, industrial and infrastructure applications.

The extruder integrates with dedicated heads, calibrators, cooling tanks, haul off systems and cutting units. Real time digital control optimises every stage of the process, while high efficiency motors and robust gearboxes ensure operational continuity and long service life.

Different screw geometries for processing a greater variety of polymers:

Feeding zone designed to ensure consistent pellet conveying, with a uniform-depth channel sized according to the density and flowability of materials such as PE, PP, PA and PU.
Transition section with progressive channel reduction, engineered to activate gradual polymer melting through the combined effect of pressure and viscous shear, preventing overheating and degradation.
Calibrated metering zone designed to ensure flow stability, uniform viscosity and constant thrust towards the die head, guaranteeing consistent wall thickness and surface quality of the pipe.
Possibility of integrating Maddock mixing elements to improve thermal mixing and melt distribution, particularly useful when processing filled materials, multilayer structures or high-viscosity engineering polymers.
