The Bausano MD parallel twin screw series is developed for the regeneration and compounding of rigid and plasticised PVC, even in the presence of additives or mineral fillers. Thanks to homogeneous low temperature plasticising, the line preserves the chemical and physical properties of recycled material, minimising thermal degradation. Each extruder is optimised to process complex industrial waste such as profile scraps, medical residues, insulated cables and expanded PVC. The controlled action of the counter rotating screws ensures accurate mixing, even with high percentages of CaCO₃ or fibres, producing homogeneous compounds ready for reuse in new industrial applications.

The MD Twin Screw Series is designed for the efficient regeneration of rigid and flexible PVC waste, including profiles, sheaths, medical materials, additive compounds and cables. Ideal for complex processing with high percentages of mineral fillers, it ensures excellent melt homogeneity, even under critical conditions. The system optimises the processing of materials with variable composition, maintaining low process temperatures and dimensional stability of the pellets. Available in 158 and 170 mm versions, with power from 260 to 435 kW, the MD line can be configured for variable output production, including medium and small batches. Integration with automatic filtration, degassing zones and versatile cutting systems ensures stable and precise pelletising. The Bausano IoT platform guarantees complete traceability, real time control of the entire process and intelligent management of critical parameters, even with contaminated materials. Thanks to its modular architecture and the possibility of adapting each process phase to the type of PVC being treated, MD technology makes it possible to obtain high quality pellets suitable for new industrial applications. MD Series: high performance thanks to specialised components

Pelletizing die head


The Bausano pelletizing die head is manufactured with a PVD surface finish, or Physical Vapor Deposition, a vacuum treatment that deposits a high hardness metallic ceramic film. This coating ensures high wear resistance, a low friction coefficient and dimensional stability, even when processing abrasive polymers or mineral filled materials. The PVD finish improves the smoothness of the surfaces in contact with the melt, reducing adhesion and material build up, while helping maintain process continuity and product quality during extended production cycles.

Sistema de desgasificación

Degassing is a key phase in the regeneration of PVC and materials containing plasticisers, stabilisers or processing residues. Bausano MD lines are equipped with one or more degassing zones, strategically positioned along the screw to remove air, moisture, solvents, monomers and volatile substances.  This technology improves melt quality, prevents chemical instability and optimises the mechanical properties of the final pellets. Degassing is particularly important in the regeneration of plasticised PVC and blends containing organic residues or unwanted odours.

Cutting system


Bausano offers modular cutting systems, designed to adapt to the type of material, its viscosity and the final application of the pellets. Solutions include frontal air cutting, multi blade systems and customised configurations.  Self centring rotors ensure precise and regular cuts, while the inspectable structure enables fast maintenance. Cutting geometry and force are optimised according to the density and rigidity of the PVC, ensuring uniform pellets even with additive filled or abrasive materials.
