Extrusion lines for CPVC pipes

Bausano develops complete extrusion systems for CPVC pipes (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride), a technical material characterized by higher thermal, mechanical, and chemical resistance compared to standard PVC.
Thanks to its modified molecular structure, CPVC is suitable for the transport of hot fluids, corrosive substances, and industrial gases, with operating temperatures exceeding 90°C.
Bausano lines are designed to manage the specific rheological behavior of CPVC, ensuring melt homogeneity, precise temperature control, and accuracy in final pipe geometry. The entire process is monitored to reduce the risk of thermal degradation and ensure production repeatability, even in continuous operation.

Bausano’s CPVC extrusion lines are designed for applications requiring high reliability and regulatory compliance, such as domestic hot water networks, heating systems, technical gas pipelines, and industrial drainage systems.
Each plant is modular and customizable: from the extrusion die to calibration and cooling systems, as well as haul-off and cutting units, all components are dimensioned according to the required operating conditions.
The lines integrate proprietary energy-saving technologies, such as the Multidrive system and magnetic induction heating, which reduce energy consumption and improve process stability.
The design complies with major international standards (e.g. ASTM D2846, ISO 15877) and is aligned with a sustainability-oriented approach, through the use of certified materials and efficient resource management throughout the entire production cycle.
