Dimensional precision and tolerance control

In the medical sector, the dimensional stability of extruded tubing is a functional requirement, not an accessory feature. During development, a typical tolerance is ±1%. For tubing with an internal diameter of 1.6 mm, this corresponds to a precision of ±10 µm. Thanks to the flexible configuration of Bausano solutions and dedicated downstream accessories, it is possible to produce medical tubing with internal diameters from 0.8 mm to 17 mm, according to the specific project.
