Continuous evolution, solid tradition

After the war, Clemente Bausano founded a small factory which, within a few years, specialised in the production of plastic extruders. In an old building in the centre of Rivarolo Canavese (TO), Costruzioni Meccaniche Clemente Bausano was established.

The company grew and the small red-brick factory was no longer adequate. Production moved to the outskirts of the town into a larger and more modern facility. More than half a century later, it is still the company’s headquarters.

A year of technological revolution: after years of research and experimentation, the MULTIDRIVE system became a patented innovation that improved extruder performance and durability. A breakthrough that marked a turning point for the company, opening the doors to international markets.

Growth continued with the opening of the first overseas subsidiary in São Paulo, Brazil. With the aim of serving the South American market, Bausano do Brasil was established, now the leading national manufacturer in terms of number of installed plants.

After Brazil, expansion reached India, where the group’s first Asian joint venture was created through a partnership with Rajoo, one of India’s leading companies in the design and construction of extrusion systems.

Bausano patented its induction heating system, an innovative technology that ensures greater energy efficiency, precise temperature control and faster thermal response during material processing.

The new Bausano image is unveiled — a visual identity reflecting the company’s DNA and projecting its values into the future: scientific rigour, technological excellence and a human-centric approach.
